Ascent's Operations Center (AOC) is staffed 24/7/365 for real-time critical-systems monitoring, dispatch/escalation and maintenance management services. The AOC is central to our Critical Systems Management services; it's the nerve center for management and maintenance activities. AOC staff members use tools, such as BTech to monitor UPS batteries and Citect/ALC to monitor building environmentals like HVAC and fire suppression equipment. The monitoring systems enable the AOC to:
- promptly intervene in the event of a crisis
- escalate/notify the client
- dispatch vendors
- record/trend monitoring data to assist with analysis
In a crisis, the AOC's primary responsibility is to ensure your internal escalation path is followed and all appropriate vendors are dispatched. The AOC team maintains contact with the data center staff until the event ends. The Ascent Operations Center - Up all night, so you don't have to be.
